Mind & Body Connection- 4 week course
Bernadette, our South Devon Community Development Lead and Matt (Sessional Recovery Practitioner) hosted a 4 week course, working with each other and the participants to guide one another through tools and experiences used to understand and practice the Mind and Body Connection - for example how to use posture and body awareness to improve mental and emotional health.
We looked at gut health as well as routines, sleep hygiene, movement and breath. The people who came to the group all took time to inclusively listen to one another. The time together over the four weeks enabled people, including us, to open more fully to move better, to increase our mind, body connection.
