Live Longer Better

Devon Mental Health Alliance Recovery Practitioner, Dee Allbrook, is also a BeWell@StepOne Course provider, and recently she worked with Jess Slade, from Live Longer Better, at an event where participants had an opportunity to try gentle activity at Shekinah Grow’s Charity premises in Paignton.

Another aspect of the day was to bring inclusive exercise to an older demographic in the form of Chair Based Yoga. ‘Motivation connected to activity’ was the topic also covered in Dee’s talk on ‘Don’t let DNA define you, but exercise enlighten you’.
Participants were surprised by what they could do and eager to try the free Wellbeing Yoga Course.
