We’d like to invite you to the next Plymouth Mental Health Collective community event where people, communities and organisations can contribute and engage.

 Please join us to collaborate, have conversations, make connections & have your say in shaping the future of the PMHC.

 Session one – The 3 Lens Model

Presented by Professor Richard Byng from the University of Plymouth & Gemma Gowan from the Changing Futures project - The model offers a balance between the currently more dominant diagnosis-based model of practice and other important approaches - trauma-informed and strengths based – with a person-centred approach overarching all three.

 Session two - Grassroots Spotlight, Marbles Lost & Found CIC

Founder Nicky Nurrish will share updates, insight & news from the Marbles network that started from her own experiences..

 Session Three: - Current Approaches to Psychiatry

Dr Sarah Harvey – Will explore current approaches to psychiatry; including exploring the efficacy and limitations of SSRI’s.

 ‘Open Mic’ opportunity to share or showcase what’s happening in your service or community.
