Exeter's Community Health & Wellbeing Alliance Meeting.
Come join us for Exeter's Community Health and Wellbeing Alliance - let's work towards a healthier and happier city together!
Do you or your organisation support people in Exeter with their physical, emotional, or social wellbeing? We are creating a space for anyone in the health, wellbeing, and social care sector within Exeter to connect with other similar organisations, support one another, learn from each other, and discover new ways to work better together for a healthier city of Exeter.
Exeter is a beautiful city with loads of people and organisations working hard to improve the health and lives of our population in innovative ways. On the flip side of that, the needs of our population in Exeter are significant, funding is consistently reduced or harder to find, and we have lacked the space to nurture our relationships with, and understanding of, one another.
The morning will start with an opportunity to meet and network over a cup of coffee/tea, catching up informally with each other about how everything is going. We will aim to start the meeting officially at 10am with an opportunity for those in the room to introduce themselves and share about the ways in which they are contributing to the health and wellbeing of Exeter.
We will explore some tools we will be using to track and evidence whether meeting in this way has any meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing work in Exeter. This will be our own sort of bespoke use of Social Network Analysis and Social System Mapping.
The morning will end with a chance to discuss and explore some more of the practicalities of what this space should look like, who needs to be here, and what we can do together to create a space that is supportive, relational, and a catalyst for the right change in our city. This will include inviting attendees to fill out an expression of interest to chair the alliance meetings moving forward.
This is a great opportunity that you won't want to miss. Please reserve your place now as there is a capacity limit to the room we will be using. We would also like anyone involved in providing health and wellbeing support in Exeter to fill in this simple survey before we meet in April:
